Week 2 Post
What did I learn this week? This week, I learned about the eight characteristics of living things and more details about what they are. I also learned about the dormant and active states of seeds. It was interesting to know that when a source is fixed, it is not alive. I learned that the head needs to wait for the right conditions to revive itself again. This means that the seed needs to wait for something special to happen; for example, if given water, warmth, or light, it will show the characteristics of a living thing. Can you relate to what you learned with what you already knew? While learning in the lab this week, I could relate to what I learned in elementary school in class. I remember it was about third grade, and we started talking about photosynthesis. It needed to be more detailed than in our class, but I remember discussing the basics in elementary school.
